To encourage students to improve their Mandarin proficiency, Taipei Medical University offers incentives to international students who take the Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL) listening and reading test.
The incentives are offered in account with the Taipei Medical University Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL) Incentive Regulations for International Students.

IMPORTANT NOTES
The AY 114-1 incentives are for TOCFL listening and reading test taking place after August 1st, 2025.
To apply for the incentives, please request a discount code from OGE BEFORE registering for the test.
Please note that the funding is limited to 20 applicants for AY 114. Graduating students of the applying academic year will be given first priority, and incentives will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registration Fee Grant
- Full reimbursement of the registration fee for TOCFL listening and reading test.

Monetary Awards
- Cash awards based on the level achieved in TOCFL listening and reading test

Review Schedule
- Applications will be reviewed after the deadline, and reimbursements will be processed within 3 months.

- Please refer to the official TOCFL website for the most updated schedule.
Additional Information
Registration fee grant: students may apply once per degree program at TMU.
- For example, if you receive the grant during your Master’s degree and then enroll in a PhD degree at TMU, you may apply again during your PhD study.
Monetary award: students may reapply if they achieve a higher level when taking the TOCFL again.
- For example, if you receive NT$1,000 for passing level 2, and later achieve level 3 or higher, you may apply again for the corresponding award amount (without the registration fee grant), even if you are still in the same degree program.
