A Fruitful Event for A Better Life at TMU

The orientation (A Fresh Start Workshop) for new international students took place at Chengpu Hall, Xinyi Campus of TMU during Sep 7 and 8. It is the first physical orientation after the end of the pandemic of COVID-19. With high expectation from all, it includes not only the basic knowledge about whom to find at OGE when facing the problems, but also some experiences shared by the excellent alumni.

There is also a session for Director Austin Chang who is the director of the Core Facility Center. He introduces the very delicate research facilities of TMU and sharing a lot of academic experiences with the new coming students.

What’s more, we also got two student contributors from the Philippines to share their life and lessons at TMU and Taiwan, including the time management, financial management and other tips for easier and more interesting life in Taiwan.

We also invited Professor Eisner Salamanca from the dental department and Ambassador Donya Francis from the Embassy of Saint Christopher and Nevis to share their lives as a students and how TMU had nurtured them to what they are today, they provided the very inspiring speeches with a lot of applauses from the audience.
